Where you will be when Obama is inaugurated?
I, just like everyone else, is extremely excited about the inauguration tomorrow and excited about Obama becoming our next President.

President Barack Obama
SO THE QUESTION IS: Where will you be on Tuesday for the inauguration and how will you celebrate it? Let me know when you get a chance and lets all share in the excitement.

Apple finally gets it….DRM has got to go
Now I am going to be called a hypocrite on this one but let me explain first. I am not a fan of DRM – I have never been – it is difficult to work with, annoying at best, assumes you will be a criminal and cause problems if your computer and/or software is not set up right. Now the flip side is we use it on our pay per view rentals (yes I know I know) but we have to – I know for a fact that if I didn’t - my pageant pay per view rentals would be all over the pageant community – so in order to protect our revenue stream – we had to put it on our videos.
However, if you have been keeping an eye on the MacWorld Tradeshow, you will know that they will soon be offering DRM free downloads from their ITunes store. So if you buy a song from the ITunes library, not only will you get to play it on your iPod, but now you can play it on any mp3 player you have. And that’s what I like best about Apple’s decision. If I own a Zune, I should have the option to buy something from the iTunes store and play it on my player – after all it’s my purchase. If I want to stick it on every computer in my house – I should be able to – it’s my purchase. Will some people abuse this (of course they will), will people make copies and give it away (of course they might) – can Apple absorb that dishonesty ( I think they can). They may raise their prices a few pennies to cover the potential theft loss, but I think it is a good thing. If you buy it, you should be able to do what you want with it.
Now if Apple really wants to impress me, how about exchanging all of my DRM encoded songs for the same ones without DRM. 8 million songs available DRM free starts today. Expect around another 2 million in March.

Happy New Year – EVERYONE!!
It is the start of yet another year. I can’t believe how fast 2008 went. It seems like every year keeps going by faster and faster yet I fell like I am still standing still. Don’t you just hate that. Well one of my New Year resolutions is to do a better job keeping this blog going either every day or every other day – plus we so much work to do in 2009 as we grow our video business.
SO FIRST – thanks to all of our fans, supporters, friends, associates and those who believe in what we do and how we do it. It has been a long road (sometimes difficult, sometimes disappointing) but it has been fun as we continue to try and do what we belive in and what we hope you like. We hope in 2009 you will share with us the good, the bad and the ugly so that we improve and get better.
SECOND – if you are a fan of the internet web sitcom show “Duder” – well writer Matt Kirsch is ending Season 2 early. If you all have ever tried to put together a web video show, it is long and hard work (especially when you don’t make any money from it). If you support the show (we love it), let him know – leave a message here or go to his website at: www.dudershow.com and let him know. He will continue the show if their is fan support but you have to let him know. We have to support our own especially when you have talented people attempting to break out on their own and do their own thing – so do me a favor – if you like the show – let him know. WANT TO SEE THE EPISODES – head over to Planet Q TV – click on the “duder” show and check out season 1 and 2 – I think you will really enjoy it.
THIRD – Pageant Pay Per View fans – new platform is up – 27 videos are online to watch, rent or download. So if you don’t want to buy the DVD, that bootleg copy you got is crappy quality (just kidding, just kidding) or you just want to see one category – check out our selection at: www.clickclickexpose.com and click on the shopping button – EOY 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, Florida USofA 2008, Gay Florida America 2008, International Week 2008 and a whole lot more is waiting for you.
FOURTH – The podcast shows will be resuming starting this week. More gay news week in review, Adrian and I will be starting our podcast show again, along with queer history facts and hopefully some new shows as well. Stay tune – it should be a lot of fun.
That’s all for. HAPPY NEW YEAR – Here’s hoping for a fantastic 2009 year.
